Prerequisites:
To become a student volunteer at HIMSS 2009, you must be:
- A student member of HIMSS - Join Now!
- Currently a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in a related field*.
- Available from the dates of April 3 – April 8, 2009
- Age 21 years or older.
* A copy of your schedule or a letter from your institution is acceptable form of proof – a copy of your student ID will not be accepted.
Your Commitment:
- Air transportation to/from Chicago
- Ground transportation to/from Chicago airport to your hotel
- Incidental charges, i.e. hotel incidentals and meals outside of scheduled meals
- A commitment to HIMSS to be available for the entire conference. April 3 (Mandatory student orientation/conference set-up begins promptly at noon) through April 8 (Final day of conference until 3pm – optional evening wrap-up party)
