HIMSS is pleased to again offer the 2-day CPHIMS “Train-the-Trainer” program to prepare educators and other professionals to administer the CPHIMS Review Course. The Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) is a professional credential offered by the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). With the growth of CPHIMS, qualified trainers have the opportunity to become certified to offer the Review Course in their health systems and other education settings.
Upon successful completion of the program and CPHIMS certification, CPHIMS Trainers will receive official designation as a CPHIMS Trainer. While prospective trainers do not need to be CPHIMS certified to participate in the Trainers program, all trainers must be CPHIMS certified prior to teaching the CPHIMS Review Course.
Those interested in becoming a certified CPHIMS Review Course Trainer will include:
Participants will receive comprehensive training in order to teach the CPHIMS Review Course, including program goals, policies, certification procedures, and all required print and electronic media.
This program will span two days during the HIMSS08 Annual Conference & Exhibition in Orlando.
