Description:
This session will demonstrate and discuss the new capabilities in AHLTA 3.3 from the perspective of a military provider. The release of AHLTA 3.3 introduces an automated method to place patients on registries. This enables the clinical staff and providers to apply the clinical practice guidelines and protocols within their workflow to the patient. Registry goals and results can be auto-cited into the encounter. The registry tool allows the display of actionable reminders at pre-configured time intervals for those patients that meet registry criteria. Registries can be set to auto-register patients based on diagnoses, Lab/Rad/Medication orders, procedures, or manually.
