The US Federal government pays for 40% of all American healthcare, and it plays a major role in healthcare delivery, funding innovation in health IT, industry regulation, population health, research, emergency response and many other domains. The Federal Health Architecture (FHA) works with over 20 Federal agencies to provide a "Federal voice" in national health IT initiatives, and FHA provides innovative solutions to help agencies exchange health information and implement the National Health IT Agenda.
